The existing system was written in Classic ASP. No documentation. The original developers were long gone. Drivers hated the mobile app (a buggy iOS port of the desktop version). And management had no visibility into what was actually happening.

We used the strangler fig pattern—built new components alongside the old system, then gradually migrated. New mobile apps for drivers, ML-based route optimization, predictive maintenance using vehicle telemetry. All while the old system kept running.
